(warm kitchen until 21:45)

Sunday: 12:00 to 22:00

(warm kitchen until 21:45)

Company vacations:

From 01.01.2025-07.01.2025 our kitchen remains cold.

From 08.01.2025 we will be back from our short hibernation to our regular opening hours.

It is not for nothing that the saying “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” has been around for centuries. Food is well-being, warmth, comfort. Down-to-earth dishes, hearty drinks and an ambience that invites you to linger … all this has become rare in today’s world. Instead, time is lacking at all corners and ends, especially time for enjoyment.

But our restaurant Edel Weiss is one of the pleasant exceptions. As soon as you enter the restaurant in the heart of Bremen, you feel transported to one of those ski or alpine huts – to the place where you might still find one of the now rare flowers on the hillside that coined our name. With us you are surrounded by a warm atmosphere and honest hospitality, two important qualities that we brought from Tyrol to Bremen. Take a seat in the rustic coziness, look around in peace and let the impressions take effect on you.

Book a table directly now

Table reservations are only valid for dining guests and are booked for 2 hours, for groups of 8 or more for 3 hours, after which your table may be taken again. From 20:00 you sit with us for an unlimited time.

If you would like to stay with us longer if you book early, please let us know in advance.

We would like to point out that bachelor parties are not possible in our house.

Tradition according to an old recipe.

The entire restaurant team is committed to traditions, whether it’s Bavarian specialties, Austrian delicacies, and home-style German treats.

We have reinterpreted the old dishes from grandmother’s recipe book for you. 

Our chef reaches into his recipe box and conjures up tasty roast pork with hearty red cabbage and dumplings.

You want to get a whiff of “Wies’n” air while eating?

No problem. Try the Weißwurst (Bavarian veal sausage) in an unusual breading or let yourself be convinced by the Schweinshaxn (knuckle of pork) and Kaiserschmarrn (pancake). You want to “enjoy in moderation”? No problem – the appropriate “glasses” are of course also ready.

And if you would like to join us on a culinary journey further south and to Austria, order a liver dumpling soup, crispy roast pork or something sweet from Austria’s neighboring country from the friendly ladies or the hearty boys.
